Delete your KAITA account

Option 1 — delete in the app (fastest)

1. Open KAITA and sign in.
2. Go to Profile, then Settings.
3. Open Privacy & Data.
4. Optionally tap Export My Data first to keep a copy.
5. Tap Delete My Account and confirm.

Deletion happens immediately once you confirm, and it cannot be undone.

Option 2 — request deletion by email

If you can no longer access the app, email us from the address registered to your KAITA account. We verify the request against that address and confirm with you before deleting. Requests are completed within 30 days.

Never send your password or any other credential. We will never ask for it.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in credentials
• Profile and personalisation data (name, email, gender, date of birth, height, weight, goals, experience, equipment, injuries, diet preferences and allergies)
• Workout plans, templates, scheduled and completed sessions, sets, reps, weights and personal records
• Meal logs, custom meals, hydration, fasting, sleep, step and body-weight records
• AI Coach conversations, AI memory, food-recognition corrections and AI usage records
• Your profile photo stored in KAITA's private image storage
• Reminder settings and any stored notification device token

What may be retained temporarily

• Short-lived server and security logs held by our hosting and database providers under their standard configuration (typically days to a few weeks).
• Encrypted database backups, until they expire on our provider's rolling backup schedule and are overwritten.
• The minimum records we are legally required to keep for fraud prevention, dispute resolution or accounting, kept only as long as that obligation lasts.

Food photographs are never stored on our servers, so there is nothing to delete for them.

Your store subscription

Deleting your KAITA account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it separately through your Apple Account subscription settings on iOS or Google Play subscription settings on Android to prevent future renewals.
